Can a cheater just get added as a child account to bypass a ban?

No, there are several safeguards in place that make this ineffective:

Verification is required for every account. A parent account must pass identity verification in order to create a PlaySafe ID. This means a banned individual cannot simply register a new parent account to work around their penalty.

Child accounts are capped. A parent account can add a maximum of 3 child accounts before additional approval is required from us, limiting the potential for abuse at scale.

Penalties are shared across the entire family group. If any account within a family group is caught cheating; whether that's a child or parent account, the penalty applies to all linked accounts. This makes attempting to hide behind a child account not only ineffective, but actively risky for the parent account holder.
