Does PlaySafe ID care about people using Cronus, modded controllers, or similar devices?

Yes, any hardware or software used to gain an unfair advantage over other players falls under our cheating policy.

Detection of these tools remains the responsibility of the game's own anti-cheat systems. Where a ban is issued by a game developer on these grounds, it will be reviewed by us and is likely to result in a penalty being applied to the player's PlaySafe ID.

As with all cheating violations, we are not the detection layer - that sits with the game. Our role is to ensure that once a cheater is caught, the consequences are meaningful and follow them across the PlaySafe Protected network.
