How is my PlaySafe ID created?

Age 13 and over (with a valid photo ID): Create a PlaySafe ID account and complete identity verification through our partner, Entrust. You'll be guided through the Entrust SDK to verify yourself using a photo ID document and a motion selfie.

Under 13, or under 18 without a valid ID : A parent or legal guardian (aged 18+) creates an account using the steps above. They are then able to add a child account. This account type is only available for users under 18. Both Parent and Child accounts are linked - penalties applied to one will apply to both.

PlaySafe ID does not store any of your documents or biometric data. We receive only a confirmation from Entrust that verification was successful, at which point your anonymised PlaySafe ID is generated. All your data from the verification is deleted, the only thing that remains is a hashed biometric token.
