How is my PlaySafe ID created?

Age 13 and over (with a valid photo ID): Create a PlaySafe ID account and complete identity verification through our partner, Entrust. You'll be guided through the Entrust SDK to verify yourself using a photo ID document and a motion selfie.

Under 13, or under 18 without a valid ID : A parent or legal guardian (aged 18+) creates an account using the steps above. They are then able to add a child account. This account type is only available for users under 18. Both Parent and Child accounts are linked - penalties applied to one will apply to both.

PlaySafe ID does not store any of your documents or biometric data. We receive only a confirmation from Entrust that verification was successful, at which point your anonymised PlaySafe ID is generated. All your data from the verification is deleted, the only thing that remains is an encrypted and sealed biometric token.
