How to: Unlink Steam account

If you would like to submit a request to unlink a Steam account from your PlaySafe ID, please fill out the form at the bottom, making sure to include:

(1) PlaySafe ID
(2) Steam ID(s)
(3) Reason

What happens next:

  1. You'll receive a confirmation email once your request has been submitted.
  2. All requests are subject to a standard 7-day holding period.
  3. Once the holding period ends, our support team will review your request within 48 hours and notify you of the outcome.

Please note that response times may be extended during holiday periods.

Important:

  • The 7-day holding period is a standard security measure that applies to every request.
  • All requests are reviewed manually by our support team.
  • To protect the integrity of our verification system, requests linked to suspicious activity, such as account sharing or penalty circumvention, will be denied.
  • Violations of our Terms of Service may result in a review of your account and further action being taken, up to and including a permanent ban in severe cases.
