Is PlaySafe ID a kernel-level install?

No, there's nothing to install at all. PlaySafe ID integrates directly into supported games, meaning the verification process happens at the account level rather than through any software installed on your device.

To get started, you simply create your PlaySafe ID, complete the identity verification process, and link your anonymised ID to any PlaySafe integrated game.

We are currently exploring the development of a companion app for managing your PlaySafe ID, two-factor authentication, and more. This will be entirely separate from any game integration.
