What if I don't want to risk my ID?

Connecting a PlaySafe ID is entirely optional. Players who prefer not to connect can continue playing exactly as they do today with no disruption.

It's worth noting that opting out means missing out on the benefits that come with PlaySafe verification, such as access to PlaySafe Protected servers and a community of verified players. But there's no obligation to connect, and no penalty for choosing not to.
